The Africa Scotland Art History Heritage (ASAHH) Network is an RSE-funded network of researchers, curators, and other creative professionals based in Scotland and in institutions across the African continent.
Established in 2025, the ASAHH network supports the development of research, international collaborations, and knowledge exchange related to the arts, heritage, collections and cultural histories of the African continent.
The ASAHH network shares members’ news, grant opportunities, and updates of interest. Starting in autumn 2025, we will host a series of online events for sharing research and project updates, and workshopping collaborative grant applications.
The network is funded for 2025-2027 by the Royal Society of Edinburgh’s Africa Working Group, with founding partners at the University of St Andrews, National Museums Scotland and the University of Strathclyde.
